We manufacture different styles of Eyebaths / Face wash fountains and need to be reached within 10 seconds (in case of acids even 6 seconds). The recommended time to use an eyebath is 15 minutes. It is obvious that this cannot be achieved with cold water. Matcon has developed for this problem a solution, knowing the patented Continuous Warm Water heater “Thermae” which generates in a very safe and certified way pleasant Luke warm water for the eyebath. Also our Tank Shower series can give an answer to this problem! As said we have a wide range of possibilities from hand showers to “unbreakable” eyebaths with hinged lid (for operation). Also for Laboratories we do have many possibilities. We manufacture for outdoor climates (frost protected), indoor situations and also for warm tropical climates!

The MB 50 Eyebath / Face wash fountain is made of "Unbreakable" material complete with an integral hinged lid (incl. self-adhesive sign), standard suitable for indoor use. The integral hinged lid is at the same time the operation of the eyebath (when you pull the lid forward you activate the eyebath (water starts running)). Eyebath is having Perlators / Diffusers which ensure a gentle soft aerated flow, which is pleasant for the eyes, also a flow controller is present on the unit for the best spray pattern. As an extra option we can install a special drain, which drains the Eyebath empty after usage! Minimum water pressure 2 Bar G. Water connection: a 15 mm compression, a ½" male BSP or a very easy "Push / Speed Fit" 12 mm connection (when you require a different connection please let us know). Several options can be combined with this Shower like f.e.; Treadle foot control, Proximity switches, Automatic Flush units, Light, Pictogram (Sign), etc..

!! This Eyebath can also be made suitable for outdoor use (frost protected), the model code is than MB 50 OD.

MB 15 (W) Wall mounting or

Hand shower for Eyes/Face or the body with adjustable spray pattern or a fixed spray pattern (non adjustable for f.e. just for Eyebath!). This unit can be delivered with an easy wall-mounting bracket in which the showerhead can be installed (W) or a desk mounting set (D) shower fits in the desk. Flexible hose enables a working distance of two meters (can be larger or shorter!). Inclusive Sign/Pictogram. Water connection: a very easy “Push / Speed Fit” 12 mm connection (when you require a different connection please let us know). Handheld Eyes / body shower can also be combined with a Safety Shower with standpipe!

"Pepper-Spray" Eyebath / Face wash fountain

New special developed Eyebath / Face wash fountain. The unit is equipped with a special spray system (in total 5 spray heads). This spray system has a wide angle, which achieves an immediate cooling effect for persons who have had contact with Pepper-Spray. The spray system is easy to clean and calcium has no effect. Complete face and the Eyes will be washed quickly and simultaneously. The unit has a very robust Stainless Steel wall bracket. An extra hand Eyebath is as option possible. Instead of a rectangular Stainless Steel bowl (53 x 32,5 x 15 cm.) is this unit also available with a round Stainless Steel bowl (Ø 34 cm.). Water connection: a 15 mm compression or a ½" male BSP.

Continuous Warm Water Eyebath “ Thermae”

Your Matcon eyebath will give pleasant Luke/warm water, standard suitable for indoor use. The complete unit is very good secured against malfunctioning, so that you never get too hot water out of your eyebath or in case of an electricity breakdown, so that there is no electricity available, the supply of normal cold water will be guaranteed. The unit uses only electricity when the eyebath is activated. In short a safe, economic and pleasant solution. The eyebath has a hinged lid, which keeps the eyebath always clean. This lid can easily be operated manually or by foot treadle. By pulling the lid the eyebath will be activated immediately (water starts running). Heater can be used with different types of eyebaths and also mounted on combination showers. Electricity: 3 x 380 Volt - 400 Volt. Maximum power 10,5 kW. Light (for indication or malfunctioning) optional!

The MB 30 Eyebath / Face wash fountain has a Stainless Steel open bowl with Perlators / Diffusers with dust covers. Frost protected Eyebath / Face wash fountain MB 50 is made of "Unbreakable" material complete with an integral hinged lid (incl. self-adhesive sign), on a standpipe suitable for outdoor use. For further characteristics we refer you to our description of our model MB 50. Eyebath drains automatically empty after usage! Eyebath is mounted on a standpipe and can be positioned by the base plate. Water connection 1-¼" male BSP on a height of 135 mm. Material standard galvanised steel (Stainless Steel / plastic also possible). Can be manufactured as well in a Flame Proof version. Insulated a covered with a jacket with very good visual green/white striping. Electricity standard 230 Volt (can be different!).

Infrared Eyebath / Face wash

Operation of the eyebath without contact. When someone reaches the eyebath it will activate immediately full automatically. This Infrared eyebath stops also full automatically when you leaf the Eyebath. This all because of the infrared eye in front of the Eyebath. In short no operation with the hand (manually). Ideal for Laboratory use.
