Matcon has developed Mobile systems which can be transported easily to changing work places, so that you have sufficient means with you in order to be able to work in a safe way!
With these solutions you are able to use an Emergency Safety Shower / Drench Showers & Eyebaths / Facewash Fountains in a mobile frequently changing situation.
The European standard CE EN 15154, but also f.e. the American standard ANSI Z358.1 requires that a person should rinse / flush their eyes or face at least for a period of time of 15 minutes when you have come into contact with a harmful aggressive fluid or substance. In the CE EN 15154 part 3 and 4 are in this case the effective standards and the values are different than part 1, 2 and 5. But why compromise when we can supply you with a system to achieve the standard values (15 minutes)!
Mobile / Transportable Safety Showers and Eyebaths complete with water storage
Standard content of the Matcon Mobile / Transportable Emergency Safety Showers and Eyebaths:
• Small systems: 0,5 liter and 1 liter
• Medium sized systems: 6 liter / 9 liter and 19 liter
• Sub large systems: 70 / 150 and 200 liter
• Large systems: 1500 liter or larger
• Other contents are always negotiable!
Small systems (0,5 and 1 liter)
The 0,5 and the 1 liter systems operates with a N2O (Nitrous Oxide) or CO2 (Carbon dioxide) cartridges.
These systems can be carried with you very easily, but we have also carrying bags in our program.
Medium sized systems
The 6 / 9 / 19 liter systems can be pressurized very easily by means of a compressor, but can also be pressurized with another propellant in order to pressurize the system.
6 and 9 liter are portable by hand.
9 and 19 liter are also portable by hand, but have also trolley / chariot in order to make it easier.
Frost-free cabinets we have as well in order to make it feasible to install these units outdoor.

Sub large systems
The 70 / 150 and 200 liter systems can be pressurized by means of a compressor, but also another propellant is possible.
70 / 150 and 200 liter systems have two solid strong wheels on order to move the system manually. There is also a possibility of a towing hitch so that you can be transported behind a car.
These systems are also available in a frost free version and also heated so that you have nice warm water.
Large systems
The 1500 liter or larger are equipped with a pump (electrical or with air pressure) in order to operate the system.
These systems are combined with a trailer and can be transported by car and it is very easy to place them on the spot without difficult manoeuvers.
The Large Transportable Emergency Safety Showers and Eyebaths are equipped with an immersion heating element, so that you have nice warm water to your possession. We can supply these systems as well in a Frost free version, so that they can be stalled outdoors.
All these systems we can supply in a Flame Proof / ATEX version.
Also against Bacterial growth (E-Coli and also Legionella) we have several solutions in our program.
Mobile / Transportable Safety Showers and Eyebaths without water storage
With all of the above mentioned systems there is a water storage present, but we have also the possibility of an ordinary mobile / transportable Combination Safety Showers and Eyebaths, like f.e. our model MB 22, which can been carried with you easily and to be connected to a fixed water supply or as a satellite in combination with our MB 23 or MB 24 mobile system with the content of 1500 liter or larger. The MB 22 have a firm and solid base frame so that the Safety Shower will stay up firmly without fixation.

We have all these systems also in our rental program, so when you need an Emergency Safety Shower and/or Eyebath for a period of time it is not really necessary to buy a unit, but you can rent a unit and return it when you are ready. An investment is not needed in this way and you will save money!
All our Safety Showers / Emergency Showers / Body Showers or Drench Showers / Deluge Showers Eyebaths / Face wash fountain do comply to the highest standards like among others; CE EN 15154, but also the ANSI Z358.1 and the DIN 12899 part 1 – 3, etc.
A wide range of options for the Mobile / Transportable Emergency Safety Showers and Eyebaths are available, so that you can compose a Safety Shower and Eyebath exactly in the way you require. You can think of f.e.; Treadle type foot control, Light, Cabin/booth, Proximity switches, Etc.
The (Sub) large systems do have standard a MB 50 Eyebath with the hinged lid which is at the same time the operation. When the lid is pulled forwards the water starts running immediately and stops of course when the lid is closed. We also have Eyebaths / Facewash Fountains with an open Stainless Steel or ABS / Plastic bowl and dust covers on the diffusers. We also have hand held Eyebaths and we have the possibility to mount a black rubber eyecup on the diffuser with a hinged lid with sign.
